: read itma. anyone who agrees with that shouldn't make such a big problem with it if his/her music was ripped.

For those who are not aware of the ITMA, you can read all about that in the ITMA Sound-Off Forum:

: Damn, ripping is one very common thing within the scene, and melcom is making such a hassle of it is something i don't understand. Does he feel so elite that everyone should know how sad and poor he is now a tune was ripped from him? Ripping occurs. And it occurs more to the more famous, as more people get to hear those songs. That's normal. You make it something new and terrible. Bullshit. buh.

For the record, Melcom merely sent me an email detailing his annoyance at the fact that someone ripped his song, it was my idea to make it public via the News Page and open up the idea to public discussion through this Forum, so I hope that your comments were not geared towards Melcom.

We are here to discuss "ripping off", not "ripping"... By my definitions, "ripping" would be borrowing a sample or two from a song, not changing the Instrument text, deleting an artists name and inserting another.

: Please rip my modules.

Is that what you mean? Please take one of my songs and remove my name and exchange it with your own?

I guess that you do not feel as deeply about your music as others do, but that's fine... We're here to see if something should be done about it, and if so - what, so let's keep the conversation going!
