In the demoscene everybody prepares himself for Dialogos '99. In the past few days topics on IRC channels like #coders announced that big groups like TBL, Fudge, Purple, Quad, Voxpod, Kolor, Haujobb, and Prone would come to this small German party. At least it was a small party last year: Only about 50 persons were there according to various reports. But for this year's event the organizers, Suburban Creations, have found a lot of sponsors, resulting in high prize money. This and the presence of respected sceners seems to attract visitors from several countries. /Adok :: news :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Skal, coder of Bomb!, has married. We congratulate! Outbreak want to change the demo-compo rules of The Party 1999 and hence opened a web-site where everyone can "vote for improved TP99 rules". The subject of disagreement is the TP organizers' plan to hold separate compos for DOS demos and Windows demos. Outbreak and over 80 people who have signed up to support this campaign would prefer separate compos for 3d-accelerated demos and non-accelerated demos instead. http://www.otb.nu/tp/ Jcole left Milk.
