News ................................................................. : Hugi Size Coding Competition #11 has started. The Hugi Size Coding Competition Series is a series of 80x86 Assembler size-optimizing contents, held on the Internet for almost two years. It includes a world-leage table, a mailinglist for discussion among the competitors, and an archive storing the sourcecodes of all entries of past competitions. Yesterday, the eleventh competition has started. The task is to code a program that finds the shortest path through a maze, just like Theseus, with the only difference that the program does not have to defeat the Minotaur - it, however, has to be as small as possible. If you want to join the contest, download the rules, an example program and a test-suite at the following website. Happy optimizing! Posted by Adok, edited by Adok, based on news from Adok. Can you help us with some great line about wij demos, that it is an international group which needs free gfx made with Photoshop or pixelled, and that you can send us gfx to cxczevik@ivillage.com?" WiJ is a group consisting of very nice people and it would be sad if it went down the drain just due to missing gfx. Posted by CoaXCable, edited by Adok.
